To
make the tea the tea pot is initially stood
on its handle. Then the tealeaves put in the
strainer and boiling water poured over them.
In this way the strainer is immersed in hot
water and the tea can draw.
When
the teapot is stood up straight again, the tea
leaves are restrained in the strainer and the
tea stops drawing. So the tea will not turn
bitter or get too strong and no straining is
necessary – simply enjoy it.
